 The Amhara Development Association is gearing up for its major Telethon to mobilize resources from among members and friends in and outside of Ethiopia. The goal of this ambitious endeavor is to raise awareness and funds. The funds will enable ADA implement more projects to improve the livelihood of our citizens through better health services, access to primary education, and skills development. ADANA has launched an exciting project in collaboration with Global Green and ADA to construct a self-sustaining modern Health Center in Gondar City. The Health Center will provide quality health and human services to the residents of Gondar City. Gondar has a relatively high cost of living where residents have very limited access to quality and affordable health services. The Health Center will operate at cost recovery scheme generating marginal income to expand and ensure quality medical services. The project is funded through a collaborative effort among Global Green Enterprises, ADA and ADANA. Total estimated project cost for civil works & furniture supply is about ETB 4,671,784 (USD 486,644), excluding the cost of medical equipments that is supplied in kind by GEE. |
